Practice focused on Ahimsa (non violence). A mindful yoga flow syncing breath and intentional movement. Class incudes asana postures (movement), pranayama (breath), and dhyana (meditation). If needed props for comfort and ease are provided.
Beginners Yoga a foundational class great for beginners and those who enjoy a gentle class. The class begins with a check-in to create a sense of connection, followed by 40 minutes of gentle movement and breathing prepare the body and mind for sitting. Ending with a 15 minute guided meditation. The class centers around the universal mantra (sacred sound) So Hum, and is designed to bring participants into a sense of inner stillness and peace.
Our signature style of traditional vinyasa yoga. The class focuses on syncing breath to movement, and offers accessible alignment cues for each pose. Along with asana practice this class includes opportunities for pranayama (breath work) and meditation. All bodies and levels are welcome.
Embodied Flow is a yoga class that not only encourages intuitive movement, but cultivates space for each practitioner to explore what this means for them. Our focus is to deeply experience & connect with the body in each moment. Each week we will weave somatic practices throughout the flow, discovering the joy within various forms of movement, & fostering a supportive space to honor your body’s wisdom.
a therapeutic yoga class combining myofascial release techniques with the mindful stillness of Yin Yoga. Tennis balls, blocks, and other props are used to apply gentle, targeted pressure along trigger points & areas of deep tension while settling into long, meditative holds. This class is designed to release fascial restrictions, support mobility & calm the nervous system.
Slow and intentional. Poses are held for 5 or more breaths with a meditative approach. We still flow in and out of poses and emphasize alignment and breath control to cultivate peace of mind. In this class we take time to settle deeper into postures
Rest is necessary restorative yoga allows students to passively stretch while supported by blankets, blocks or bolsters. Providing the body with physical support helps the body and mind to come into a state of relaxation. Students will practice deliberate stillness and conscious rest. As the body rests muscle tension begins to unravel, stress begins to melt away, the mind begins to quiet aiding the natural healing process of our bodies.
Yoga Nidra is a deep relaxation through the practice of a guided meditation. This practice allows you to experience state of conscious rest that calms the nervous system, reduces stress, and promotes overall well-being. During this class awareness of the body and breath control guides you through different stages of relaxation. This helps release physical tension, calm the mind.
The study of yoga began as a dialogue between teacher and student. Private yoga instruction for individuals or small groups. This is a wonderful way to meet your individual needs for a mind-body connection, for relaxation and stress management. Private classes can be booked through the services option or in person at the studio.
